Chiringuito El Kabron; Bali’s latest highlight
After one good day spent at Padang-Padang beach, we decided to have dinner at this new Spanish restaurant, Chiringuito El Kabron, in Pecatu that friends had been to recently.
Chiringuito is Spanish slang for a place where you can grab a quick snack, such as beach bar or seaside restaurant. But the real meaning of chiringuito is a place where friends, neighbors meet and hang out.
As soon as we arrived there, i know i will definitely come back! El Kabron is such a beautiful place, very relaxing and charming. A place where you can spend a good time with good friends. With a big “backyard” that overlooks a cliff and the Indian ocean with a small swimming pool to watch sunsets from, this is, officially, a chilled place.
El Kabron is an ideal place to watch the romantic sunset over the Indian ocean that will sure to create an evening to remember. :)
How to get there? From Jl. Uluwatu, go right on Jl. Labuhan Sait towards Padang Padang beach for 1.2 kilometers then watch out for the red and black El Kabron sign on the right-hand side of the road. -

Another tip when you have time to spare in Bali: take the roads out of Kuta, and drive up to Pecatu (southern coast of Bali Island) for a leisurely day of sun, sea and sand in Padang-Padang Beach.
To reach the beach, first you have to pass through cave-alike. The cave is kind of narrow and slippery so you have to be careful with your steps as you hike down the stairs. Gotta be more careful when you come afternoon since in the cave is dark.
Once you arrive, white sandy beach with turquoise water are waiting for you. :)
White sand, a clear turquoise ocean with waves for all levels of surf and monkeys playing high up in the trees—don’t worry they’re not aggresive. :) Padang-Padang Beach is also known as “one of the best surf spots in Bali”, you can just grab your surfboard and jump into the blue water to the waves of the day!
You don’t need to be a surfer though to hang out at Padang Padang, it’s very pleasant and peaceful. The ocean is mostly calm and perfect for a pleasant swim and/or snorkeling.
This beach is just perfect whether you want to play in the water, relax in the sun, read good books, do some water sports or just to stroll along the beach.
Been here hundred times, but this neat little beach never ceases to amaze me with its charm. :) -

Notes Holiday in Bangkok; it sure was fun!
Bangkok (Thailand) is the best city to taste great food, do amazing shopping and enjoy the great variety of people living and visiting this city. Ok, street food-tripping is something you HAVE to do in Bangkok. It Is Amazing. 9 out of 10 people will agree on this. Where ever you go in Bangkok, you will always see a yummy street vendor around the corner cooking the most delicious soup you’ve ever tasted – for less than 10k IDR!
Chatuchak—Weekend—Market Bangkok is another of those places you don’t want to miss when coming to this city. It opens only on weekends, so all you have to do is just to fit in a day trip to Chatuchak Market, and you will not be disappointed! If you’re a budget shopper—Chatuchak is a place to hunt for hard bargains—this is your kind of heaven! Here’s a trick to shop at Chatuchak Market: When you see something you like, buy it like, immediately. Chances are, you won’t be able to go back to that store again. Why? Because it’s extremely HUGE!
Holiday in Bangkok; It sure was fun! I definitely want to head back to Thailand and explore a little more :)

Notes Water Castle Café Yogyakarta; Lovely Café, Lovely OwnersIt’s always a pleasure to come to Yogyakarta. The warm sense of culture, the hospitality of people inside, the existing traditional stuff, the delicious foods, and many things to describe. Those will make you feel like you’re home.If you hear the word “Yogyakarta” what comes to your mind? Of course – Batik, Prambanan and Borobodur, the two biggest and most famous temples.But this time I’m not going to write about batik, nor temples. Many website already have lots of information on them.
Water Castle Café, a place that may not be seen nor visited by those who visit Yogya. It was morning when we first randomly found this café, we stopped for breakfast—and a nap! This is a lovely café where you can relax with coffee and home-made organic mixed fruit juice, have a light lunch or come for an extremely reasonably priced evening meal. The owners are lovely people who try and make you as comfortable as possible. This café had a very Yogya feel to it and I just loved it!
This café located inside the Bird Market Taman Sari. As you pass through the Bird Market on your way to The Water Castle, you will find this relaxing and lovely café, you can’t miss it. Or you can always ask around! ;)
